2015 Officers Elected

Chapter 10 Elected new officers for the 2015 year. They will help continue the momentum that the 2014 officers started. Look for information on the 2015 officers HERE. The officers were sworn in by Jamie "Wraith" Clum. Departing officers did an amazing job and they should be recognised for the extrodanary job they did while in office. Ricky Vallejos, Michelle Alexander, Wayne and Corrina Betenbough, and Kenny Powell All served with distinction. Some are staying and some are moving on to other things. Wherever they end up the ALR wishes them the very best and a heartfelt thank you!

Chapter 10 has done an amazing job this year. The riders put on several events and raised a ton of money for various charities. We collected over $3000 in cash and item for Operation Wounded Warrior. We worked with St. Thomas Aquinas to collect another 1500 Items for OWW. We raised $450 for El Ranchitos De Los Ninos. We raised $450 for the Guardians of the children. We raised $260 for the Veteran's integration center. We donated to the Auxillary to help send their girls to state. We donated $450 to the post for Thanksgiving and to buy presents for the kids of the community for christmas. We have come so far since this time last year and we are going to keep moving up!

Visits New Mexico

The American Legion National Commander, Daniel M. Dellinger, spent a week traveling across New Mexico visiting many of the Legion Posts. He was welcomed from the airport by a large group of Legion Riders that escorted him to Post 49 and then later to his hotel. On Monday night he came to a dinner at the post and spoke about his plans for the upcoming year. A huge thanks to the Auxillary for their hard and impressive work on the dinner and the decorations.
